My time is up – or not quite? For fifty years I was able to gain experience as a manager, entrepreneur, management consultant and mentor. My company Swiss Consulting Group SCG AG has passed into new hands and has been renamed Swisscreate AG.
New windows and doors are opening for me. I am free to support entrepreneurs, employees and young people with my experience as a mentor.
In addition to my work as a mentor, I have been actively involved in development aid in poor countries for over thirty years, living my Christian values. My extensive business experience, coupled with my deep ethical convictions, characterize my activities as a mentor.
In my youth, sport – especially sport in the high mountains – was not a big issue. When I was 21, a friend from university changed my life. He sparked a fascination for the mountains in me and taught me the technique of mountaineering. I learned to know my limits and to overcome them. I understood and learned the importance of professional techniques. And I learned to enjoy the joy and satisfaction of reaching the summit after a great effort. I probably learned the most important lessons about leadership and entrepreneurship on these tours.
In my books, blogs and lectures, I draw on my wealth of professional experience and my experiences in the high mountains. I convey my insights with gripping storytelling and easy-to-implement methods.
I am not only a mentor, but also a book author. In my books, I share my proven methods and life experiences with readers in Switzerland, Romania, Moldova, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam, among others.
